DOUBLE ZERO
You come to at the table. Dark, smells of baize and old smoke. Across from you
is the Croupier — that is not a name, it is a post. He does not ask whether you
want to play.
The currency here is minutes of your life. You have 600. Three acts of three
rounds; at the end of each act the Croupier takes his quota: 150, then 600,
then 1500 minutes. Short by one and your time is over. Survive all three and
the door opens.
**Cheating is allowed. It is the only way to beat the wheel for real.**
— **The palm.** The pocket is covered. While the ball rolls you see a candidate
arc of nine sectors: the true one is inside, but not which. The arc narrows, and
the narrower it gets the more the hand costs. You can shove the ball either way
blind — and take yourself off a win just as easily.
— **The magnet under the table.** Placed before the throw: your chosen sector
weighs eight times as much and comes up about one throw in six.
— **The late bet.** The slowdown zone lights up while the ball is still moving.
Drop a chip in fast enough and it plays.
Get caught and your bets burn, he takes double out of your bank, and you get a
mark. Marks do not wash off — each one adds risk to every cheat you ever try.
**The table is alive.** Chips stand for the whole round, and every spin the House
charges you for them again. Raise your bet and the heat climbs, multiplying
everything that comes back. Take a chip down and the heat is gone.
**Every run differs.** The House repaints some pockets, so the ring stops
alternating and "left" no longer equals "right". The Croupier has a temperament:
one device he watches closely, another he lets slide. Before the throw his eyes
give away which.
Win and a harder tier opens. Tiers give you nothing — they only make the House
meaner.

Russian and English, switchable in the menu.
Tutorial in the Croupier's own voice, rules, and a glossary.
Runs are saved: a stray reload will not kill yours.
**This is an early version.** The mechanics, balance and writing are done; the
visuals are placeholder — everything is drawn in code, without a single image
file. If it plays well, tell me what is boring and what feels unfair. That
matters more than anything right now.

**18+.** A game about betting and cheating at a gambling table. There is no real
money in it: no purchases, no paid chips, no cash-out. It is a simulation.
**Content:** dark themes — the stake is minutes of your life, and losing ends the
run. No violence, no sexual content, no links to real gambling services.
**Data:** the game collects and transmits nothing. No analytics, no trackers, no
ads, no accounts — it makes no network requests at all. Your browser stores only
the current run and the highest difficulty tier you have opened; that data never
leaves your device and clearing site data removes it. The game says the same
itself — a line in the menu and an "About this build" block in the rules.
**Accessibility:** playable without colour vision — red numbers carry a diamond
◆ on the table, on the wheel and in the cheat windows (checked under a
deuteranopia simulation). Keyboard controls in the cheat windows (← ↓ → and
digits), Russian and English, and prefers-reduced-motion support.
All graphics and audio are generated in code: no third-party assets or fonts.
